birds of a feather

"birds of a feather" was created on the back of a vintage glass vanity tray, where paint is applied in reverse - requiring intention, trust and a willingness to let go of control. Set against a vivid blue field, a white goose looks out at the viewer, surrounded by brust of yellow and green that feel like both landscape and emotion, influenced by Katie's unique experience of synesthesia.
